km (600 miles) do not exceed: |
- 20 kph (13 mph) in 1st gear
- 45 kph (28 mph) in 2nd gear
- 65 kph (40 mph) in 3rd gear
- 90 kph (55 mph) in 4th gear

miles) to 3,000 km (1800 miles): Do not overaccelerate. |

Before setting out on a
long journey, check and top up if necessary: |
- The engine oil level
- The level of the "LHM"
brake fluid
|
Depending on the driving
conditions, the engine oil consumption may go up to 0.5 litre
per 1,000 km (600 miles) after running-in period i.e. 5,000 km
(3,000 miles) at least.
The engine oil level should be checked periodically (see
page 22) |

- Engine sump, drain and refill.
- Oil filter, renew the cartridge.
- Air filter, clean the cartridge.
- Gearbox, change the oil.

LAMPS |

Pay attention to the "imperative
stop" red warning lamps: brake fluid level and engine oil
pressure. If they light up while driving, stop immediately. |
