| After Raid Australia
2008, our Raid 2CV needed some repairs. So we went to Australia at
halftime between the 2008 and the 2012 Raid, in 2010. Our car needed the
usual maintenance work - oil and chassis change. We timed the trip to
coincide with the annual Cit In, the Easter Meeting of all Australian
Citroën Clubs. Every year this event is hosted by another state. In
2010 it took place in Launceston, Tasmania. After our arrival we started working on our car to replace the chassis and the front suspension arms. Coincidentally, the same week the CCOCA Annual General Meeting took place. We showed up to surprise our Australian Citroën friends - to be quickly forgotten when another club member showed up with Quentin and Tristan and their 2CV Bucephale - on their trip around the world. After a few days we met with Andrea and Ian from Melbourne to do a trip around Tasmania. Click here for the slide show The next episode was the Cit In Easter Meeting in Launceston. Their highlight is a Slough built 2CV from 1955 named Boris. Once our 2CV was tucked away, we went back to Melbourne. Prior to our return flight, we spent some days with our Citroën friends Andrea and Ian. Click here for the slide show |
